First shot and first basket probability based on play-by-play analysis
How it works: We analyze play-by-play data from recent games to calculate each player's first basket probability. First Shot % shows how often a player takes the game's first FGA. First Basket % shows how often they score the game's first FGM. Only players with >= 10 minutes are eligible for each game.
Note: First Basket % can exceed First Shot % when a player scores after someone else misses the opening shot.
