About

DataStreak — Independent Sports Betting Analytics

DataStreak is a single-operator analytics platform tracking 2,000+ players daily across NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, WNBA, NCAAB, and NCAAF. Built by a bettor, for bettors. No picks, no hype — just measurable edges from real game data.

Who Builds DataStreak?

DataStreak logo
DantesData
Founder · Lead Data Engineer · Operator

Sports data engineer focused on betting model construction across major US leagues. Built DataStreak after years of running personal models in spreadsheets — the goal was a single, transparent place to surface edges from streak momentum, fatigue, opponent weakness, and lineup context. Every tool on the site exists because it's used personally to bet. The methodology is published openly at /methodology; nothing is a black box.

Editorial & Data Principles

DataStreak is built on a small set of non-negotiable rules. These aren't marketing — they shape every product decision.

  • No picks. We surface edges and show the data behind them. We never tell you what to bet. Personal accountability for every wager stays with the user.
  • Show the data. Every hit rate links back to the underlying game logs. If you can't verify it, we shouldn't be claiming it.
  • Transparent methodology. The full Six Edge Pillars logic is documented at /methodology. There is no proprietary "secret algorithm" — the value is in the rigor and freshness, not opacity.
  • One operator, one voice. DantesData is the editorial owner. There is no anonymous content team, no AI-generated takes, and no sponsored picks dressed up as analysis.
  • No sportsbook affiliations on edge tools. We don't take a cut when you lose. Comparison tables exist to help you find the best line, not to push a specific book.
  • Same-day fixes. If a stat is wrong, an injury is stale, or an edge is mispriced, email support and it's typically fixed within hours, not days.

Where the Data Comes From

DataStreak does not invent statistics. Every signal is built on top of public, verifiable data sources, refreshed daily and recomputed in our own infrastructure.

Reviews & Reputation

DataStreak's reputation is built publicly. We link out to Trustpilot reviews from the footer of every page — both positive and critical. If we get something wrong, we want to hear about it.

Common Questions

Who runs DataStreak?

DataStreak is built and maintained by DantesData, a sports data engineer with a background in betting model construction. The product, methodology, and editorial standards are owned by one operator — there is no anonymous content team. You can reach us via @DantesData on X or support@thedatastreak.com.

Does DataStreak give betting picks?

No. DataStreak surfaces quantified edges — places where a measured player or team hit rate diverges from the sportsbook line. We never tell you what to bet. Every signal links back to its underlying game logs so you can verify the data yourself.

Where does DataStreak's data come from?

Game logs, box scores, and injury reports come from official league feeds via the BallDontLie API. Live and pregame odds come from The Odds API across 14+ sportsbooks. Every page shows when its data was last refreshed.

How is DataStreak different from CBS, Covers, or other big sites?

DataStreak is a single-operator analytics shop, not a sportsbook affiliate. We don't take a cut on losses, we don't push picks, and we don't run sponsored 'expert' takes. Every tool exists because the operator uses it personally to bet.

Why should I trust DataStreak's hit rates?

All hit rates are computed from real game logs you can verify. Methodology is published openly at /methodology — no black boxes. Reviews are public on Trustpilot. If you find a bug or stale number, email support and we'll fix it the same day.
